Our workshops: made directly, checked before it leaves

Your furniture is made to your measurements in partner workshops in China; your light fittings are chosen from the catalogues of manufacturers who supply their CE declaration. We work directly with the manufacturers, with no importer or distributor in France. Here is what we check, and what we refuse to do.

Our commitments

  • The country of manufacture, in writing

    Every quote states where each piece is made. Today: in partner workshops in China.

  • No copies

    We refuse to reproduce a design protected by a designer or a furniture brand. Every sheet is checked on this point before it goes to the workshop.

  • Checks before dispatch

    Dimensions, finishes, assembly: the piece is checked and photographed before dispatch, and you receive the photos.

  • Compliance

    We do not have custom light fittings made: we choose them from the catalogues of manufacturers who supply their CE marking and EU declaration of conformity, which we check before any order.

Why China, and why directly

The workshops we work with are skilled in lacquer, marble, metal and blown glass, and make single pieces to precise measurements. That is what makes made-to-measure pieces possible at a reasonable price.

We work directly with the manufacturers, with no importer or distributor in France: that way we avoid intermediary margins. In return, it is up to us to select, check and guarantee: we remain your single point of contact.

See and touch the materials before you sign

A marble, a lacquer or a velvet cannot be judged on a screen. We send you a sample box of the materials of your project. Up to 6 samples of your choice: fabrics, wood species, metal finishes, stone or ceramic, depending on the project. Delivery included, to addresses in France only for now. €39, deducted from your Design & supply order. Shipped within 2 to 3 weeks.
