General terms of sale

The rules that apply to our design services and to the sale of the pieces we have made or supply, for consumer customers.

Last updated: 29 October 2026.

This translation is provided for information only. The French version of this text is the only binding version. Read the French version

1. Purpose and scope

These terms govern distance contracts concluded between the company Maison Yildirim (“we”) and any individual acting for purposes outside their trade or profession (“you”) for: remote interior layout design (e-design); the sale of furniture, light fittings and decorative objects as part of the Design & supply service; the sale of sample boxes. Professionals receive special terms with their quote.

The applicable terms are those in force on the date your quote is accepted. They are sent to you with every quote and can be saved or printed from this page.

2. Seller

Maison Yildirim, a SASU (single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company) with share capital of €1,000, RCS Paris 106 970 932, intra-Community VAT number FR45106970932, whose registered office is at 44 rue Pasquier, 75008 Paris, France. Contact: contact@vraiegrandeur.fr, +33 6 95 23 20 65, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. See the legal notice.

3. Our services and what they exclude

E-design. The design includes the mood board, the layout plan, the renders, the specification sheets, the shopping list and two rounds of changes; beyond that, the cost of each change is stated to you before we begin it. It is carried out entirely remotely, from the information you provide. The design file is delivered to you within the time stated on the quote, normally 5 working days after we have received all your information.

Design & supply. In addition to the design, we have the furniture made to your specifications by partner workshops, we supply the light fittings and objects chosen from their manufacturers' catalogues, we import them and we deliver them to the room of your choice. Before any manufacture begins, we check every measurement with you on a video call.

We carry out no building work, no structural changes and no town planning applications. The anchoring of heavy pieces and the electrical connection are not part of our services and must be entrusted to a professional. Assembly may be offered as an option, on quotation, by a local partner; it is not included by default. [Specify who invoices the assembly and who is responsible for it: us, or the partner directly.]

The renders are images generated by artificial intelligence: they illustrate an intention and are not contractual. Only the signed specification sheet is binding, with its tolerances (in particular ± 1 cm on dimensions, and natural variations in the veining of stone and in the shade of lacquers and fabrics).

4. Quote, order and confirmation

Every order is preceded by a free quote, valid for 30 days: a quote for the design, then, if you wish, a quote for the supply. The quote itemises each element: the design, then each piece with its all-inclusive price, its country of manufacture, its lead time and, for standard items, the estimated cost of returning them. For each piece, it also states the manufacturer (name, postal and email addresses) and, if the manufacturer is established outside the European Union, the person responsible in the Union; the reference of the sheet, with a dimensioned drawing or an image; the safety warnings (wall fixing, maximum load, type and maximum power of bulbs). It includes a box to request the free take-back of your old furniture or light fitting on delivery.

The contract is concluded when you accept the quote by signing it electronically; the confirmation button is labelled “order with obligation to pay”. The electronic signature is made through Yousign, a French electronic signature provider. For any piece made to your specifications, manufacture only begins after you have signed an approval for production reproducing the specification sheet. Before you sign, we check every measurement with you on a video call; you remain responsible for the measurements you have supplied to us.

We confirm each contract to you by email, on a durable medium, with these terms and the withdrawal form. Where a contract is for €120 or more, we archive it for ten years and give you access to it on simple request to contact@vraiegrandeur.fr.

5. Prices

Prices are expressed in euros, including all taxes, and include manufacture, transport, customs duties on entry into the European Union, taxes and delivery to the address given. Outside the European Union (Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway…), the import duties and taxes of the country of destination are not included: they remain payable by the recipient. The eco-participation (the French recycling contribution) is included in the price and shown separately. Extended producer responsibility: sectors, eco-organisations and unique identifiers of Maison Yildirim (SIREN 106 970 932): Furniture (Ecomaison, the French furniture recycling scheme): membership in progress; Electrical and electronic equipment, light fittings (ecosystem, the French recycling scheme for electrical equipment): membership in progress; Household packaging (Citeo, the French packaging recycling scheme): membership in progress.

E-design starts at €290 per room; its exact price appears on the quote. The amount of the design is deducted from the supply order placed within 6 months of delivery of the design file. Assembly, as an option, is quoted on a separate quote.

The minimum order for the Design & supply service is €1,500 of products, design not included. The sample box contains up to 6 samples of your choice (fabrics, wood species, metal finishes, stone or ceramic, depending on the project). It costs €39, delivery included in France; this amount is deducted from your Design & supply order.

6. Payment

The design is paid for when the quote is accepted. The supply is paid for in two stages: a deposit of 50% when you order, then the balance before dispatch; the pieces are dispatched once the balance has been received. The sums paid when you order are advance payments (acomptes), not earnest money (arrhes). Payment in instalments is not offered.

Accepted payment methods: bank card, with secure payment through Stripe, and bank transfer. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never have access to your card data. The pieces remain our property until their price has been paid in full.

7. Manufacture, inspection and conformity of the products

The furniture is made to your specifications by partner workshops located in China. The light fittings are catalogue models: their manufacturer supplies the CE marking and the EU declaration of conformity, which we check before ordering. Each piece is inspected and photographed before dispatch, and you receive the photos. We refuse to reproduce a model protected by an intellectual property right; we may refuse or modify a request to that effect.

8. Delivery and transfer of risk

We deliver in France and throughout Europe, to the room of your choice. The lead time is stated piece by piece on the quote. As a guide, manufacture and transport included: 4 to 6 weeks for small items, decoration and light fittings; 8 to 12 weeks for standard furniture; 10 to 14 weeks for made-to-measure furniture and large pieces. We deliver by the stated date at the latest.

In the event of delay, you may call on us, in writing, to deliver within a reasonable additional period, and then terminate the contract if delivery does not take place within that period; you may also terminate it immediately where the delivery date was, for you, an essential condition of the contract. We then refund all the sums paid no later than 14 days after termination (articles L216-6 and L216-7 of the Code de la consommation, the French Consumer Code).

One-for-one take-back (deliveries in France). On delivery, we take back your old furniture or light fitting free of charge: one for one: a product of the same type, up to the quantity delivered. Request it in your brief or by ticking the box provided on the quote. Take-back terms: at the delivery address, items taken back are handed to the French schemes Ecomaison or ecosystem.

The risk of loss or damage to the pieces passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier we have chosen, take physical possession of them. Check the parcels on delivery and, if you can, note your reservations on the delivery note. Send us photos of any damage within 48 hours: they help our claim against the carrier. This period does not condition your rights under the legal guarantees.

9. Right of withdrawal

Design. You have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without having to give a reason. We do not begin the design before the end of this period unless you expressly ask us to, on a durable medium. You then remain free to withdraw, but you owe us an amount proportionate to the service provided up to the time of your withdrawal. If the design is fully carried out before the end of the period, at your express request and with your acknowledgement that you lose this right, withdrawal is no longer possible.

Pieces made to your specifications. In accordance with article L221-28, 3° of the Code de la consommation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. The pieces concerned are identified as such on the quote and on the approval for production.

Standard items, catalogue light fittings and sample boxes. You have 14 days from receipt, or from receipt of the last item where the order is delivered in several parts. You return the items to us no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision. The cost of returning them is at your expense; for items that cannot be returned by post, their estimated cost appears on the quote. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the items.

We refund all the sums paid, including the initial delivery costs, no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision, by the same means of payment as the one used for the order unless you agree otherwise; we may defer this refund until we have recovered the items or until you provide proof that you have sent them.

To withdraw: use the Withdraw from contract here function, at the bottom of every page of the site, the model form below, or any other unambiguous statement sent to contact@vraiegrandeur.fr. We will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium without delay.

10. Legal guarantees

All the pieces sold benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-1 et seq. of the Code de la consommation) and from the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the Code civil, the French Civil Code). To exercise them, write to us at contact@vraiegrandeur.fr: we are your single point of contact, even for a piece made abroad.

Where the dimensions of a made-to-measure piece result from the measurements you supplied and approved in the approval for production, a discrepancy due to those measurements is not a lack of conformity.

11. Intellectual property and photos of your home

You are free to use the design file to furnish the home concerned, including by having the pieces made or buying them elsewhere. The plans, sheets and texts remain our creation: the file may not be resold, distributed or published without our permission.

The photos and plans of your home are used only for your project. We publish no image of your interior without your written permission.

12. Personal data

See the privacy policy. If you give us your telephone number, we use it only for your project.

13. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a delay or a failure to perform caused by an event of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the Code civil. We will inform you without delay; if the impediment continues, either party may terminate the contract, and the sums paid for what has not been performed will be refunded to you.

14. Complaints, mediation and governing law

Send any complaint in writing to contact@vraiegrandeur.fr, quoting the reference of your quote or order. If our reply does not satisfy you, or if you receive no reply from us, you can refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator within one year of your written complaint: CM2C, Centre de la médiation de la consommation des conciliateurs de justice (the consumer mediation centre of the justice conciliators), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net, by the online form at www.cm2c.net, or by post to the address above.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, in addition to the courts with jurisdiction under the Code de procédure civile (the French Code of Civil Procedure), you may bring the matter before the court for the place where you were living at the time the contract was concluded or the harmful event occurred.
